How to Spend a Fun Day Out in Victoria TX

Afternoon: Check out the city’s vintage buildings by taking the Old Victoria Driving Tour, a self-guided tour of about 80 properties in Victoria’s historic district. You’ll see a variety of both private and public buildings, some of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After you’ve completed the tour, stretch your legs with a walk through Riverside Park or cool off at the Lone Tree Creek splash pad before going out to dinner.
Dinner: Cap off your day with dinner at one of the city’s many excellent restaurants. Try the Pumphouse Riverside Restaurant & Bar, which has a back deck overlooking the Guadalupe River. The Sendera, on the 12th floor of One O’Connor Plaza, has great views of the city. Other good options for adults include Greek Brothers oyster bar and grill or the Moonshine Drinkery to enjoy beverages and live music.
